I remember borrowing this game from my class mate when I was 8 years old back in -96. Didn't remember the name of the game anymore so I had to do some digging to finally find this piece. I had myself Wrestlemania and in it you couldn't exit the ring or anything else in that matter. But this Pro Wrestling seemed to have it all in those days. The ringside was open and the gym option was an awesome never seen before detail for me which has been my strongest memory about this game. I think now once I found this forgotten jewl I won't forget the name ever again 🤩

I was born in 93 this was my favorite game to play. This brings so many memories. This is awesome. Im going to figure out how to play again lol.

An improvement over the first DD, though again I'd rather play the NES. PC Engine CD, and arcade versions over this one. The sounds and music, outside of defeated enemies "puking" on the ground, are much easier on the ears than the first DD on this console.

Bad sounding music due to the GEMS soundfont, speed that is far too fast to allow you to attack effectively, I'll stick with the NES and arcade versions. Enemies have this issue where they mirror every move you make, surrounding you in seconds, allowing you no breathing room, and no strategies other than, USE THE ELBOW MOVE to survive. The sound really grates on the ears, a custom sound driver, like the one used in DD 2 should've been used here. But nope, western developers relied on ol' GEMS, which can turn a soundtrack nasty (in a bad way) in no time.

The first video game i ever played, i was like 3 or 4, so it is also one of the first memory of my life. I remember since i didn't understand the concept of video games, i thougth somehow that the guy was me and that it was real.

This game is almost as if someone would've taken the Super Nintendo and Genesis version and said: "No, let's make it right."

Strike Gunner STG, Lutter, and this...Athena were underrated bad ass developers that got crapped on a lot. This game reminds me of Wizards and Warriors vibe mixed with tad of Castlevania and Ghost n Ghouls.
